Das Ebro-Delta liegt in den Regionen Montsi\u00e0 und Baix Ebre und erstreckt sich \u00fcber 320 km2<\/sup>. Dieses Feuchtgebiet ist einer der wichtigsten Lebensr\u00e4ume f\u00fcr Wassertiere des westlichen Mittelmeers und ist von verschiedenen Landschaften gepr\u00e4gt: Der Fluss, die Buchten, Dunen, Lagunen, W\u00e4lder, Flussinseln und Reisfelder erm\u00f6glichen die Entstehung und das Zusammenleben verschiedener Organismen.<\/p>\n

In dieser biologisch reichen und vielf\u00e4ltigen Landschaft wurde 1983 das Naturschutzgebiet des Ebro-Deltas gegr\u00fcndet, das die Gemeinden Amposta, Sant Carles de la R\u00e0pita, Sant Sant Jaume d\u2019Enveja, l\u2019Ampolla und Deltebre umfasst.<\/p>\n
