Vila-seca and La Pineda Platja are known for their extensive fine golden sand beach. La Pineda Platja has over three kilometres of beach with calm and clear waters with a very gentle slope, making it perfect for families.
And there is a long promenade that runs along La Pineda Platja. Its maritime façade is one of the largest urban public spaces open to the sea in the world. You will find many services and facilities there, designed to meet all of your needs.
La Pineda Platja, with great quality and high scenic and environmental values, has flown the Blue Flag awarded by the Spanish Environmental and Consumer Education Association (ADEAC) without interruption since 1999. This quality seal distinguishes the beaches that comply with a series of rigid requirements on safety, environmental management, cleanliness and services that are established by the European Union.
The seaside promenade and La Pineda Platja are fully adapted to people with reduced mobility and are free from architectural barriers. There are multiple access points from the promenade to the sand and to the actual shore. There are also reserved parking spaces for people with reduced mobility, zebra crossings and an amphibious chair.
