The Tourism Alliance
The Tourism Alliance, comprising Cambrils, Reus, Salou and Vila-seca, this year celebrates the 15th anniversary since it was formed. The actions of the Alliance respond to the added value of coordination and integration of efforts to the common objectives of the municipalities that comprise it, with the generation of synergies that result in a higher efficiency of actions, greater visibility and better management of tourism promotion of the destination.
Attendance at fairs, promotions aimed at the final public, advertising in the media, advertisements in cinemas, programmatic digital campaigns, television spots, etc. are some of the actions carried out and which have been strategically planned, segmented and aimed at attracting and retaining visitors.
The Alliance has made a commitment to national tourism, highlighting activities in the Basque Country, Cantabria (Santander), Navarre and La Rioja (Logroño), but also in the area of Aragon (Zaragoza) and the Community of Madrid, without forgetting the Catalan visitor, with actions in the city of Barcelona and its province and in the city of Lleida. As for international tourism, the actions have been directed mainly to French and Andorran tourism.
It should also be noted that most of these actions have had the participation of Port Aventura World and the collaboration of the Patronat de Turisme de la Diputació de Tarragona and the Costa Dorada brand. The main responsible for this alliance make a very positive assessment of the joint work and consider that the good results reinforce this strategy for the future.
For this 2021, the main campaigns planned will prioritize the state and Catalan tourism with the aim of loyalty and deseasonalize it. These campaigns will be online advertising and communication, as they are considered the most effective tools to publicize the tourist attractions of the territory.
