The Vila-seca Municipal Tourism Board has unveiled a new website designed to become the digital meeting point for everyone wishing to discover—or rediscover—Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja. With a renewed, more visual and inspiring design, the portal offers a much smoother and more engaging browsing experience, aiming to further position the destination as a benchmark for family tourism, culture, nature, and wellbeing.
The new website embraces a modern look consistent with the Tourism Board’s updated brand identity, combining refreshed content, large-format photography, and a more intuitive structure. Altogether, it showcases the destination’s main attractions in an appealing way: from beaches and natural spaces to gastronomy, heritage, and leisure options for all ages.
From a technical standpoint, the project represents a qualitative leap forward. The portal is faster and easier to manage. It has been developed with a “mobile-first” architecture to prioritize navigation on mobile devices, and it incorporates improvements in accessibility and interoperability, enabling data and content sharing with other municipal websites.
Moreover, the commitment to internationalization remains firm, as the new site continues to be available in six languages to reach key tourism markets. Built on open standards and with greater management autonomy, it allows the Tourism Board to update and expand content more efficiently and with greater agility.
With this renewal, the Tourism Board takes a significant step forward in its digital strategy, reinforcing its commitment to communicate in a closer, more inspiring, and more effective way.
