08/03/2022This weekend the municipalities of Salou, Vila-seca, Cambrils and Reus, as well as PortAventura World, have been deployed in Andorra recovering the model of face-to-face promotions at source. The Illa Carlemany and the VallNord slopes were the backdrops for the action in the towns of the Costa Daurada.
The participation of the characters and the PortAventura World performance “Let’s Take Care of the Planet” and the promotion of the vermouths of Reus are also part of the presence of the Tourism Alliance in Andorra.
The promotional programme began with a presentation to the Andorran media, highlighting the new features of the season, the screening of the joint video and an introduction with this year’s main attractions and the most outstanding tourism products: family, cultural, sports and gastronomic tourism.
A complete programme aimed mainly at families will allow tourists to travel to the Pyrenees Country and enjoy the specialised offer of destinations and accommodation and activity companies.
The high level of loyalty and repeat visits by Andorran families and the importance of the market have led the promotional organisations to place Andorra, for yet another year, on the calendar of joint actions.
Some of the strategic objectives of Salou, Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja, PortAventura World, Cambrils and Reus in this action include strengthening the positioning of the destinations, informing of the new features and adaptations made due to the pandemic and reinforcing branding.
Andorra completes the programme of joint actions that the municipalities of the Alliance began last January at FITUR. The technical teams are already working on future actions aimed at the domestic market.
This will be the third time that the municipalities have chosen Andorra to carry out the Alliance’s international actions.
