Sant Joan’s day in Vila-seca

Sant Joan’s Day and its events are approaching! In Vila-seca it will be celebrated with the arrival of the Flama del Canigó.

In the garden of the Castle there will be the concentration of ‘gegants’ and invited groups that will start the parade through different streets of the town, then there will be the reception of the Flama del Canigó in the area of the Residence (between carrer (street) Requet de Fèlix and carrer (street) Tarragona), and in the plaça d’Estudi there will be the reading of manifesto and the lighting of the cauldron followed by a dance of cultural elements called ‘seguici’ and ‘sardanes’ a catalan traditional dance. The celebration will end with a dinner where everyone brings their own, in the same square under table reservation to elrebotim@gmail.com indicating a group leader and number of people.
