10/04/2024FITUR 2024 is the first annual event for world tourism professionals and the municipalities of Cambrils, Reus, Salou and Vila-seca have a prominent presence.
Along with the Costa Dorada and PortAventura space, which is part of the Catalonia stand, the boards and organisations responsible for promoting tourism in the Aliança municipalities have a space at FITUR for professional meetings, which they make available to companies from the area travelling to Madrid. In addition, these municipalities have prominent visibility with images of the destinations, as well as QR codes that redirect to the most relevant tourist information.
The political leaders of Salou, Pere Granados; of Cambrils, Alfredo Clúa; of Reus, Sandra Guaita; and of Vila-seca, Pere Segura value positively to be able to offer a professional area of the stand that is oriented to facilitate the work and the meetings that the businessmen of the tourist sector, such as travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation businessmen, tourist service companies and media, among others, will carry out with national and international professionals. At the same time, the different members of the Alliance will be in contact with the tourism sector.
Historically, the large influx of companies from the territory and the large number of contacts made have supported the determination of the Patronages to offer an area for meeting new suppliers and customers, strengthening commercial relations and multiplying business opportunities.
Joint promotional activities in the Basque Country and France
Within the framework of the Aliança Turística, two more actions have already been defined in the promotional calendar for 2024. These are two tourism promotion projects to be carried out in the Basque Country and in the south of France, events aimed at the end public but also at professionals and which will also include a communication campaign. These actions are aimed at attracting the end public in a geographical area that, historically, visits the Costa Daurada.
The actions of the Alliance respond to the added value of coordination and integration of efforts to the common objectives of the municipalities that comprise it, with the generation of synergies that result in a higher efficiency of actions, greater visibility and better management of tourism promotion of the destination.
