Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja promoted at the World Travel Market in London

Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja has been promoted from 7th to 9th November at the World Travel Market in London, which this year celebrates its 43rd edition and hosts more than 3,000 exhibitors from 65 countries.

The Mayor of Vila-seca and President of the Municipal Tourism Board, Pere Segura, and the Councillor for Innovation and Tourism of the City Council of Vila-seca, Cristina Cid, have travelled to London where they have held several meetings with tour operators, travel agents and other representatives of the tourism sector.

Participation in this fair is a great opportunity for the promotion of destinations in the British market, a market of high strategic value for Vila-seca and the Costa Dorada.

The World Travel Market is one of the most important tourism trade fairs in the world and is the key to promoting the destination. Vila-seca, la Pineda Platja is present through the Tourist Board of the Tarragona Provincial Council, specifically under the Costa Dorada brand, and is promoted within the stand of the Catalan Tourism Agency of the Generalitat de Catalunya, using the formula Còrner.

This formula allows the participation of different tourist boards and offices, as well as companies and other tourism organisations, joining forces and optimising resources.
