Vila-seca stands out for its 3 kilometres of Pineda beach<\/a> and its calm, clear, gently sloping waters, which make it ideal for the whole family to enjoy.<\/p>\n

A long promenade surrounds Pineda beach. Its seafront is one of the largest urban public spaces open to the sea on the Costa Daurada. Of great quality and a high landscape and environmental value, since 1999 it has held the blue flag awarded by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC).<\/p>\n

Green spaces<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Vila-seca you will find the S\u00e9quia Major<\/a>, the most important wetland area in Catalonia between the Delta de l\u2019Ebre and the Delta del Llobregat. With 17.3 hectares, it is home to a great biodiversity and represents an important stopping and resting point for migratory birds. Visits last two hours and take place from August to February.<\/p>\n

Between Vila-seca and La Pineda is the Parc de la Torre d\u2019en Dol\u00e7a<\/a> which, designed with sustainability criteria in mind, is an important green lung for the area. Named after the tower in the middle of the park, it is integrated within a natural space of 37 hectares.<\/p>\n
