You\u2019ll discover different shops and businesses in the historic town centre, with a predominance of \u2018Zero km\u2019 foods, meaning those that are locally produced. Its agricultural past means that you will often see farmers directly selling their fruits and vegetables as you stroll through the town\u2019s streets.<\/p>\n<p>An important trading point in the town is its Municipal Market, where you can buy the freshest products from the sea and produce grown in the surrounding area. At the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cooperativavilaseca.com\/\">agri-shop of the Vila-seca Agricultural Cooperative<\/a>, and bearing the seal of DOP Siurana (protected designation of origin), you\u2019ll find Escomes extra virgin olive oil, which the cooperative produces, as well as a wide range of local products, nuts and dried fruits, carob flour, cava, legumes\u2026<\/p>\n<p>This traditional trade coexists side by side with the big shopping centres and shops showcasing the latest fashion, beauty and food trends, many of which you can find in La Pineda.
