01/12/2020The fifth edition of the Vila-seca International Short Film Festival (FICVI) came to the end this weekend with the prize-giving gala at the Josep Carreras Auditorium. The multifaced actor Fermí Fernández was in charge of leading the event with a lot of humor.
The film “Sticker”, by Georgi Unkovski, received the International Award for Best Short Fiction Film. The mayor of Vila-seca, Pere Segura, was in charge of giving the award to this Macedonian production. The National Award for Best Short Fiction Film was for “Maria”, by Paco Ruiz. The Councillor for Innovation and Tourism, Cristina Cid, gave the statuette to the winner.

International Award for Best Animated Short Film for “Roberto”
D.O Catalonia Award for “Els que callen”
Youth Jury Award for Best Short Film for “Distancias”
Audience Award for Best Short Film for “Complices”
First Prize In Situ for “L’últim botó”
Second prize In Situ for “Una nova vida”
Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award to Nora Navas.
