The sixth edition of the International Short Film Festival of Vila-seca (FICVI) came to an end this Sunday with the awards ceremony at the Auditori Josep Carreras. The screenwriter, actor and showman Paco Enlaluna was in charge of conducting the closing ceremony of the festival.

The short film “Of Hearts and Castles”, by Rubén Navarro, won the International Award for Best Fiction Short Film, an award presented by the Councillor for Innovation and Tourism, Cristina Cid. The Mayor of Vila-seca, Pere Segura, was in charge of presenting the most eagerly awaited award of the night, the Audience Award for Best Short Film to Votamos? by Santiago Requejo.

This year’s edition of the FICVI was marked by the great novelty of becoming a pre-selection festival for the Goya Awards.
