Vila-seca stands out for its 3 kilometres of Pineda beach and its calm, clear, gently sloping waters, which make it ideal for the whole family to enjoy.
A long promenade surrounds Pineda beach. Its seafront is one of the largest urban public spaces open to the sea on the Costa Daurada. Of great quality and a high landscape and environmental value, since 1999 it has held the blue flag awarded by the Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC).
Green spaces
In Vila-seca you will find the Séquia Major, the most important wetland area in Catalonia between the Delta de l’Ebre and the Delta del Llobregat. With 17.3 hectares, it is home to a great biodiversity and represents an important stopping and resting point for migratory birds. Visits last two hours and take place from August to February.
Between Vila-seca and La Pineda is the Parc de la Torre d’en Dolça which, designed with sustainability criteria in mind, is an important green lung for the area. Named after the tower in the middle of the park, it is integrated within a natural space of 37 hectares.
