On the Costa Daurada there are as many options as there are visitors, so everyone can choose their preferred experience and types of wine. Our lands are deeply rooted in agriculture over centuries of history with a long wine production tradition. There are six different designations of origin (DO) here, which endorse the excellent quality of our wines: DO Conca de Barberà, DO Montsant, DO Penedès, DOQ Priorat, DO Tarragona and DO Terra Alta.
During your time in Vila-seca, you can learn more about the world of wine by visiting the two family run wineries: Clos Barenys and Vinyes del Terrer. Doing their own production, these two DO Tarragona wineries offer guided tours and tastings to learn and experience the passionate world of viticulture, experiencing the wine production process firsthand and breathing the heady aromas in deeply.
